Tension Membrane Structure

Tension membrane structure and tensile building envelope are thin shell structures. A tensioned membrane supported by a lightweight structural system withstands tension without compression or bending. Made from coated PES, ETFE, PTFE or PTFE-coated fiberglass, stretch membranes can span great distances and take on a variety of shapes.

The Tension membrane structure , most commonly used in roofs and canopies, is able to create unique private and public spaces.
